Our client, a leading specialty chemical company is seeking an experienced District Manager to be responsible for managing and developing a sales force of Technical Sales Managers in a geographically defined territory.


You must be willing to:

  • Participate in determining market potential/new product ideas/product applications/development of new sales territories
  • Supervise TSM’s/Technical Service Specialists within district
  • Evaluate TSM’s within the district/compare achievements with sales objectives
  • Train/coach TSM’s to develop effective sales techniques/diversified product knowledge/awareness of customer needs
  • Make sales presentations/follow up with written proposals
  • Maintain contact with major accounts/evaluate company position in these accounts


  • BS in a science (equivalent in training/experience considered)
  • Must Have 5+ years’ industrial experience selling cleaning/sanitation products to food/dairy processing centers
  • Experience with managing teams/multiple locations
  • Self-starter with excellent sales planning/territory management skills

Full Time, Permanent Position
