Our client company is seeking an experienced, Director level Employee Relations manager to ensure the development and implementation of a proactive, well-balanced, and effective labor/teammate relations strategy. 

 

You must be willing to:

·        Continually assess/identify/work with leaders to act concerning labor/teammate                                                                relations/challenges/concerns

·        Analyze competitor contracts/union/NGO tactics/area demographics/legislative activities/etc.

·        Provide on the ground guidance/leadership to management/HR during labor campaigns

·        Formulate/administer labor/teammate relations policy for the company

·        Work closely with in-house/outside labor counsel to ensure labor policies comply with Federal/State law

·        Remain knowledgeable of the most current trends in labor relations

·        Develop/implement best practices to help maintain a union free work environment

·        Develop/communicate current labor information regularly to corporate officers

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations/HR Management/or related

·        Minimum 8 years labor/employee relations experience

·        Minimum 3 years union avoidance experience

·        High energy/strong analytical/problem-solving skills
