Our client company is seeking an experienced HR manager to provide and manage HR services, programs and policies that will attract, retain, train and develop qualified personnel and also serves as a strategic partner to division leadership.


You must be willing to:

·        Conduct necessary investigations/make sound fact-based decisions

·        Support/compliment the Open-Door process

·        Supervise/conduct/plan training programs to enhance team members education

·        Act as coach/confidant to all teammates

·        Direct safety/worker's compensation programs

·        Administer the annual merit/review process



·        BS/BA degree (HR emphasis preferred)

·        7+ years HR experience

·        Possess extensive knowledge of California HR laws

·        Extensive experience working with CDL drivers

·        Knowledge of MS Office software (experience with Peoplesoft preferred)

·        Effectively present information/respond to questions from groups of                                                                                          managers/customers/vendors/teammates

·        Have strong problem solving/written/verbal communication skills

·        Understand financial statements/resulting cost implications

·        Possess demonstrated knowledge of distribution systems/market/competition
