Our client company is seeking an experienced Quality Compliance Specialist to perform duties related to air quality permitting and compliance. Must have  worked directly for an oil refinery or chemical manufacturing company (Consulting or Engineering Firm experience does not qualify).


You must be willing to:

·        Prepare air permit applications for hydrocarbon transportation/storage projects

·        Perform necessary emission calculations

·        Prepare emission inventories

·        Make regulatory interpretations

·        Plan/organize/oversee assigned work programs

·        Monitor compliance deadlines/work schedules/direct/evaluate subordinates

·        Interface effectively with governmental agencies/regulatory boards/third parties/contractors/lawyers

·        Handle multiple projects simultaneously



·        BS (Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Meteorology fields preferred)

·        5 years recent experience working with Title V, PSD, NSR, NSPS, MACT

·        5 – 10 years progressively responsible environmental compliance preferred

·        Strong pipeline transportation/terminaling of liquid petroleum products experience

·        Excellent computer skills-understand/write complex Excel spreadsheets

·        Gas transmission/gas storage/gas processing knowledge preferred

·        Louisiana experience preferred
