Tool and Die Technician TAM142

Our client company is seeking am experienced technician to maintain and troubleshoot assembly fixtures, perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all installed assembly equipment to minimize downtime while keeping safety as a priority.


Must be willing to work extended/flexible hours as needed


You must be willing to:

·        Maintain assembly lines/other tooling to improve processes for increased productivity/quality parts

·        Provide Tig/Mig welding and hand working parts of assembly line

·        Ensure spare parts are at correct inventory levels

·        Maintain accurate documentation

·        Recommend modifications to existing equipment

·        Ensure equipment meets NEC/OSHA regulations

·        Perform PM inspections as required/complete with all repairs

·        Support continuous improvement/lean manufacturing processes

·        Train/support assembly and Tool & Die team members



·        High School/GED (Completed tool and die apprenticeship program preferred)

·        Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills

·        Provide own tools

·        Manufacturing experience

·        Ability to weld/restore tooling to original condition

·        Ability to use all tool room equipment/measuring tools

·        Basic knowledge of drafting

·        Proficient in MS Word/Excel preferred
