Our client company is seeking an experienced mine engineer to utilize the latest technology (remote piloting and GIS) to support their large open pit mining operation.

  

You must be willing to:

·        Develop/improve mid-/long-range plans (material balances/material excavation/spoil placement                              sequences/water balances/reclamation plans) that optimize efficiency/provide cost reduction                                     opportunities

·        Evaluate mine production/geological/processing data to optimize budget models/identify continuous                    improvements

·        Provide maps/documents required for mine permit modifications

·        Identify/plan/manage projects to increase/maximize the productivity/efficiency of the operations

·        Complete justification of major capital expenditures for improvements

 

 

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

·        BS in Mine/Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering/related (PE preferred)

·        5+ years Mine Planning experience (short and long range) (open pit mines preferred)

·        Extensive knowledge MSHA/OSHA regulations/compliance

·        Must have mine modeling experience

·        GIS experience/Remote Pilot Certificate preferred
